Bookings may be cancelled either by the club or by the customer.
Cancelled by the Club
If a booking is cancelled by the club it is normally due to the weather conditions however a reason will always be given.
Full Cancellation means that the full course or club session has been cancelled.
If cancelled by the club either a full refund or alternative dates will be offered. The customer can always nominate to receive a full refund.
If part of a multi-day booking is cancelled then we will attempt to offer alternative dates. If no dates can be offered then a partial refund will be offered.
Summer Sailing School
The week courses run Monday to Thursday however we always keep the Friday open to allow us to move a day if we get poor weather. This Friday should be kept available by the customer. If the Friday is offered and the customer cannot attend, then no refund will be offered.
Cancelled by the Customber
A customer may cancel a booking, the request must be given in writing by email. Evidence of this may be requested.
If the customer cancels with more than 14 days’ notice before the booking start date, then a full refund will be offered.
If the customer cancels within 14 days of the booking start date, then a full refund will be offered if the place can be filled. If the place cannot be filled a 50% refund will be offered.
If the customer cancels after the booking start time or does not attend then no refund will be offered.
