A community sailing club offering a range of activities including sailing, windsurfing and powerboating.
Dinghy Sailing
The Club has a range of modern dinghies for club members to enjoy. Running evening sessions and course through the summer. We also have open dinghy race events during the year – join in!
Windsurfing
Using only the wind and our modern equipment, learn to windsurf in the tidal location of one of the world’s most picturesque natural amphitheatres – Portree Bay.
Powerboating
The club currently runs regular RYA courses with their own qualified powerboat instructors subject to demand. These are equally suitable for leisure and commercial boat users.
Keelboats
Club members with keel boots race and cruise throughout the season. Visitors are always welcome to join in. We also run passage races and evening races round the cans.
Portree Sailing Experience
The Skye Sailing Club offers a sailing experience which is perfect for visitors to the Isle of Skye.
A great opportunity for you and your family or friends to get on the water and see the Island from an entirely new perspective.
