The 2020 sailing season is approaching - details of our sailing courses will be posted shortly. Meanwhile, we will hold our AGM at 7pm, on Thursday 12 March at Scorrybreac boathouse. Open to all members.
We also plan to follow on with a brief talk about Captain Tom Diaper, a relative of one of our members, who raced J-Class yachts in the 1920s.
We are a friendly membership club offering opportunities for everyone to try all forms of boating - whether it be dinghys, keelboats, powerboats or rowing.
If you have ever wanted to try your hand at sailing, rowing or powerboating, or just want to see Portree and the Cuillin from a different perspective, get in touch or come along on a clubnight to get on the water.
For those who already hold on-the-water qualifications you are one step away from being a Member and utilising the Club's boats and equipment on your own – if you are lucky you might get to sail alongside the local dolphins.
We are an RYA Affiliated Club and a recognised RYA Training Centre for sail and power boats, and are lucky to have a British squad recognised rowing coach too, so all our qualified instructors can show you the ropes on one of our courses.
