Anyone over the age of 10 can become a Member of Skye Sailing Club.
We offer sailing, rowing and powerboat opportunities principally on summer evenings at some weekends.
If you wish to join the Club but currently lack boating skills you are best served by taking one of our RYA Courses first because no organised tuition takes place during sailing sessions, and anyway, an RYA course is a great place to start.
To take out a year's subscription to the Club email a completed Membership Form with notification of payment by direct bank transfer (BACS) to the account detailed on the form or print off a copy and mail it with a chaque to the Club. You will not be permitted to use the Club facilities until you have paid your Membership and provided us with a completed Membership Form – this is so that you are covered by the terms of the Club's insurance.
Membership for 2017 (expires 31 March 2018)
£30 Cadets (attending school)
Short-term Membership lasting two weeks suitable for visitors to the Club is 50%
The short-term membership can be extended at the end of the two weeks if you wish into Full Membership for the 50% balance – this offer lapses two weeks after the end of the temporary period.
We hold boating sessions throughout the summer and also have some winter sailing and rowing. After evening sessions finish (mid-October) winter weekend sessions will be dependant upon the weather.
AT ALL TIMES, postponements and updates are posted on the Club's Facebook page.
