yachts start race portree skyeThere are Members of the Club that own keelboats and we organise race events for them and visiting crews. The Club cannot afford to own and run any keelboats themselves but are happy to make introductions to skippers looking for crew.

All the Club's own events are part of the West Highland Offshore Series and we are always on the hunt for ways to improve the passage racing on offer to all.

Check our Calendar section for a full list of all our events and the Trophy Cabinet to see who are the names to beat.

What happens if I become a Member?
As a Member you can use the Club's facilities and fleet of dinghies (new in 2016), you can also participate in the rowing and will benefit from lower cost training courses and reduced entry fees to our races as well as being the first to hear about them, too.

So what about the dinghies?
If you are a Member you have the same access priviledges and usage rights as the dinghy sailors – so all the Club's dinghies are available for keelboat owners to use; you may also find that some of the dinghy sailors are itching to join a keelboat crew for a taste of higher seas!
